The Department of Homeland Security leverages resources within federal, state, and local governments. The mission of the department is to prevent terrorist attacks, reduce the vulnerability of the United States to terrorism; and minimize the damage and assist in the recovery from terrorist attacks that occur within the United States. This presentation will enhance participant’s knowledge of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security by providing an in-depth evaluation of the objectives, policies and structural components of the department. |
