COURSE DESCRIPTION |
Developing Expertise in Infant Mental Health will provide mental health professionals with an understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of infant and early childhood mental health, as well as the practice of assessing parent-child relationships in early childhood. Attention is devoted to understanding the familial context of children’s early development. Information is provided to help mental health clinicians as they identify strengths and concerns in families who have young children.
