This course covers general steps to planning a health communication intervention, as well as how to apply health communication theory when promoting behavior change. Social marketing principles are introduced, in addition to steps to reduce the literacy burden that often restricts health communication. This course includes four tutorials titled: An Introduction to Health Communication; Health Communication and Theory; Health Literacy; and A Brief Intro to Social Marketing.
