The goal of this course is to introduce the concepts of implementation science. The instructors will explain the need for an evidence-based implementation approach to promote the support of research findings. The main strategies of summarizing research evidence, entering research evidence into practice and scientifically evaluating interventions to disseminate and implement research findings will be discussed. In addition to introducing these concepts, the instructors will introduce learners to the tools and resources freely available on the internet that can further their knowledge of implementation science.
